Dial Jones is a USPTA Elite level Instructor with over 30 years teaching/coaching experience. He received a full scholarship playing for #5 ranked NCAA Division 1 while attending the University of Texas at Austin. He then went on the Challenger and ATP tour, scoring significant wins over some of the top tennis pros throughout the world before shifting his focus to teaching the sport. In 1993, Dial founded Dial Jones Tennis Academy (DJTA) in Santa Monica, CA and recently brought his tennis program and expertise to Spokane. Having taught thousands of players of all ages from beginner to professional levels, his aim has always been to connect and inspire tennis players in a welcoming learning environment.

Tennis has been a passion of mine for the past 20 years. Growing up in a tennis family meant spending the weekends at tournaments all over the Pacific Northwest. Originally from Coeur d’Alene, I moved to Spokane to pursue my Masters Degree in Sports Management at Gonzaga. I also played four years of Division I tennis at Eastern Washington University. I enjoy the process of improving the player from a technical and physical standpoint. I have worked with some high level juniors in California, while I attended Gorin Tennis Academy, after I graduated from high school. I previously worked as a tennis pro at the Hayden Lake Country Club. I am looking forward to teaching tennis at North Park and becoming apart of the community.
